Pro; awesome sound. Con: cord.
This is a really great sounding earphones. I keep them in my bag for times when I forget to charge my AirPods. But they sound better to me. Too bad the cord keeps getting snagged on doorknobs.

Very clear but lack bass
The Good - clarity, good mid and high freqs, many tips to find a good fit The Bad - bass is lacking And I have tried fitting them with multiple tips. They often blame the bass on the fit.

Decent product that I use when riding with coworker who listens to awful modern Christian pop music. I?m fine with Christian?s who have musical talent but that?s not what is being played on the local radio station. He puts music on and earphones come out. Think these are a good buy at 59.00 that I paid . Would not pay what is claimed as original price though.

Highly Recommended IEM
Clarity of sound is nice, I would say nearly perfect at this price range. Highly recommended if you don't mind having a wired earphone (since most people uses wireless earbuds as daily driver).

ER3SE as daily driver IEM
The most resolving piece of headgear I have ever had the pleasure of using bar some $700us+ studio headphones. That said, even if you do not label yourself as a basshead, know that these do resolve true to slightly bass light, which compared to most devices in this price-class is a stark difference. Yes you can EQ it up a bit, but they do not enter rumbling territory ever, if you want to have a bass that can rumble the XR or even SE2 with different drivers might suit you better. Lastly the passive noise isolation is no joke, these are excellent for daily commute or working in a noisy environment, that said, ?rapid deployment? is not one of their selling features, while not uncomfortable I can definitely see your ear canals getting sore if you keep fiddling with them too much; get a seal and leave them be. Can they be used as sleeping IEMs? Yes, but your comfort will vary, with a soft enough pillow and deep enough fit you wont feel any strain, but a hard pillow is not recommended.

Amazing Etymotics - you must try these
This is my second pair of Etymotics and the ER3SE is an amazing set of earphones. The sound rivals my Focal Elegia and for a portable set of buds, cannot be beat!! Amazing detail and clarity across the whole spectrum. Great separation. Yes you will need to get used to inserting them, but what a difference over other ear buds. These provide 4-5X in sound quality at equivalent price point. Well done Ety and thanks to Adorama for a great price.

First IEMs
These are my first pair of professional IEMs and I really enjoy them. They sound as good as my studio headphones but with much better isolation. They stick pretty far into your ears however, so be aware of that.

Etymotic ER3SE
The Ety SE take a little getting used to if you are new to ear canal headphones. But they are very good for detail and excellent for isolation. These replace my Ety 4S and they are almost as good.

Nice Pair of IEM
I really like these IEMs. I use to have Shures, but all the damage and replacement with the wiring made me switch to wireless buds. When I saw a deal on these, I wanted that clarity and sound isolation again.

Nice earphones
Earphones sounds great. Not an audiophile but they work well with my laptop for when I'm listening to music or gaming at work. The bigger plugs felt better and was a more comfortable fit for my ears. Haven't had them long so haven't noticed anything to dislike yet.

BEST earphone for this price to upto over $1000 ones.
All the ER3 and ER4 series are best of best earphones you can find in market. You need to pay well over $1500 to hear something like this. Super well balanced. SE for flat pure sound engineers. XR for enjoyment listeners.

Great isolation takes a little getting used to
Love these iems. Took about two days for me to get comfortable with the fit but after that the isolation offered (by the tride and true deep insertion technology Etymotic has been famous for offering since the early 1990s) Has completely blown every other iem I've ever owned completely out of the water.

Etymotic earphones are the best
Great sound, great isolation, very well priced. I use the flange tips--it's Important to read the directions and learn how to put them in correctly or they won't sound good. Takes a little time for them to feel comfortable, but it's worth it. Highly recommended.

One of the most famous headphones of the past 20 years
Still stands up to the test of time! This headphone is not for everyone -- they emphasize a SUPER deep fit unlike anything else, and promise a dead flat neutral response. You may find them less exciting and have less of that larger than life feeling of other IEMs with a more fun tuning, but the clarity and imaging (not soundstage) are fantastic and the FR is reference grade. Not for EDM or hip hop or bassheads of any time, but amazing for rock/jazz/classic/country.

fits great, sounds great, great price.
I was worried about the fit because these are said to go uncomfortably deep within your ears, which they did, but it was far more comfortable than I thought it would be. At this point they are no different than normal IEMs to me. They sound great. Very balanced. My only complaint is that the glue on one of my foam tips came undone when I was changing the tips, so I can no longer use those, but I never used them anyway because the three flange are far more comfortable.

The fit was a little odd at first, but they came with a wide range of earpieces so with a little trial and error I found the right size. It's very important to get a good seal with these, but once you do, they sound great. It's a different experience from the over the ear open-back headphones I'm used to, but I was pleasantly surprised. Also, I live in a very loud city and these do a good job of blocking external noise. Sometimes TOO good a job--I have to take one ear out to be aware of my surroundings. But they're great for the bus or the subway.
