This iconic instrument, crafted by EVH, is steeped in the legendary guitarist's unique specifications, marrying classic aesthetics with a monstrous sound that has become synonymous with Eddie Van Halen. The guitar's robust basswood body is adorned with a striking big-leaf maple top and a sophisticated five-ply binding. The bolt-on quartersawn maple neck, reinforced with graphite, is meticulously sculpted to Eddie's exacting standards. A hand-rubbed back finish ensures smooth, fast playability, making this guitar a joy to play for both seasoned professionals and aspiring rock stars.The compound-radius (12"-16") ebony fingerboard is fitted with 22 vintage stainless steel frets, offering a smooth playing surface. Depending on your chosen finish - Ivory or Stealth - the fingerboard features either pearloid or dot inlays, adding a touch of elegance to this rock 'n' roll powerhouse. A conveniently located heel-mounted truss rod adjustment wheel allows for easy customization of the guitar's action.The Wolfgang USA Edward Van Halen Signature model is equipped with a custom-wound alnico 2 EVH Wolfgang Humbucker in the bridge and a newly added alnico 3 custom-wound EVH Wolfgang Humbucker in the neck. These pickups, controlled by a reverse-oriented three-way toggle switch, deliver a scorching, well-balanced tone that will cut through any mix.The guitar also features a red-button kill switch for stutter-stop effects, and an EVH High Friction (Tone) Pot and a custom-made Low Friction (Volume) Pot for noise-free operation. The EVH-branded Floyd Rose locking tremolo ensures endless sustain and precise tuning, no matter how aggressive your whammy-bar antics. The EVH D-Tuna allows for quick and accurate drop-D tuning at the flick of a finger.This guitar exudes elegance and classic style, available in either Ivory or Stealth finishes, complemented by chrome hardware, black speed knobs, and dog leash strap/eye-bolt clasps. Each guitar comes with a hardshell EVH Striped SKB case and an EVH leather strap, providing everything you need to unleash your inner rock god.
