While maintaining its legendary status, the reimagined 5150 Series Standard Electric Guitar with an Ebony Fingerboard in Ice Blue Metallic is a harmonious blend of vintage charm and modern innovation. This iconic instrument, reminiscent of the past, is engineered for speed, comfort, and a full-throttle attitude, making it a favorite among passionate guitarists.

Like its predecessor, the 5150 Standard features a modified Strat-style basswood body, enhanced with a deeper upper body curve for an ergonomic fit. The guitar's neck, a bolt-on quartersawn maple reinforced with graphite, boasts a comfortable modified "C" profile. It's further refined with a hand-rubbed satin urethane back finish, a heel-mount truss rod adjustment wheel, and a color-matched "hockey stick" headstock adorned with the EVH logo decal.

The 12"-16" compound radius ebony fingerboard is designed for smooth and speedy playability. It features 22 jumbo frets and cream dot inlays, offering a sleek and stylish aesthetic. Unlike the original striped model, which had a single humbucking bridge pickup, the revamped 5150 Standard is equipped with an HH pickup configuration, controlled by a three-way toggle on the upper bout.

The custom-designed EVH Wolfgang Alnico 2 humbucking bridge pickup delivers the perfect balance of punch and articulation, offering sweet sustain and thick, chunky rhythms with a perfectly balanced EQ curve. The EVH Wolfgang Alnico 2 humbucking neck pickup provides robust overdrive and endless sustain without compromising on articulate cleans when the volume is rolled down.

The guitar features a custom-designed low friction volume knob for the smoothest volume swells, and a high friction tone knob that stays in place even when accidentally bumped. A new addition to this model is a lower bout kill switch, allowing you to mute your guitar for stutter, rhythmic effects, reminiscent of the classic "You Really Got Me."

The 5150 Standard is equipped with a "dive-bomb" certified EVH-branded top-mount Floyd Rose bridge. The locking tailpiece features fine tuners for each string and a patented EVH D-Tuna for instant switching between drop-D and standard tuning.
