High School Gym
I just installed 6 of these in my school district's high school gymnasium. They have exceeded my expectation in every way. I had planned on adding subwoofers later down the road but they will not be necessary. I am powering them with 3 carvin 2000w amps in bridged mode.

The EKX series boasts an array of eight distinct models, with both powered and passive options, and includes 12-inch and 15-inch two-way models as well as 15-inch and 18-inch subwoofers. The EKX-15, in particular, is a standout model with its ability to deliver up to 132 dB SPL, utilizing high-sensitivity transducers that are meticulously designed and engineered by EV. This includes a 15-inch EVS-15M woofer, paired with a DH-1M 1-inch titanium compression driver, to ensure superior sound quality at high SPLs.
The EKX-15's innovative Signal Synchronized Transducers (SST) waveguide design offers precise coverage, making it an ideal choice for both portable and installed applications. The lightweight and compact 15-mm wood enclosures with internal bracing not only enhance the sound quality but also add to the product's durability.
The EKX-15 is also equipped with eight M10 threaded mounting points, aluminum pole-mounts, and all-metal handles, making it easy to install and transport. The robust wood enclosures are coated with a durable EVCoat finish, ensuring that the EKX speakers not only deliver exceptional sound but also maintain a sleek, professional appearance.
