This high-powered, two-way loudspeaker is equipped with advanced Digital Signal Processing (DSP) menus, offering extensive configurations, crossovers, selective voicing, and protection limiters. The ETX-15P features a range of EQ modes and a lockout mode that safeguards against unintentional system changes. The loudspeaker's performance is further optimized via an intuitive LCD screen, while a front LED serves as a power indicator or can be configured to indicate limit. Incorporating Electro-Voice's patented SST (Signal Synchronized Transducers) waveguide design, the ETX-15P ensures uniform coverage and directivity. The waveguides are meticulously optimized using cutting-edge simulation software and proprietary algorithms for precise control and minimal distortion. The ETX-15P is equipped with EV-designed and manufactured transducers, including an SMX woofer that utilizes composite cone materials, flux stabilizing rings, and thermal management. This innovative transducer design results in lower distortion, smooth response, and high Sound Pressure Level (SPL). The high-efficiency DH3-B compression driver features a convex diaphragm driving a coherent phase device, extending the frequency response up to 20 kHz. Utilizing EV's FIR-Drive technology, the ETX-15P employs the latest Finite Impulse Response (FIR) filter technology to optimize transducer linearity and advanced limiter algorithms for independent peak and thermal transducer protection. Constructed from 18-mm, 13-ply birch plywood and finished with EVCoat, the ETX-15P's enclosure is both durable and sleek.
