The system is powered by a robust 1000 W Class-D amplifier and driven by Electro-Voice's QuickSmartDSP, ensuring top-tier sound processing. It features a 15 mm wooden, ported, powered subwoofer enclosure that houses a 12" subwoofer, delivering a functional frequency output down to an impressive 37 Hz. This is complemented by eight 3.5" neodymium drivers in the column array, working in harmony with the subwoofer to deliver up to 127 dB SPL.
The EVOLVE 50 system boasts ultra-wide 120-degree horizontal coverage via custom-designed waveguides and array-formed 40-degree asymmetrical vertical coverage. This unique design ensures all acoustical energy is directed towards both sitting and standing audiences, providing an immersive audio experience.
The bi-directional aluminum pole's connection to the subwoofer is secured using a magnet, and the column array is gravity-held to the sub pole. The internal routing of the signal to the components ensures a clean, clutter-free setup.
The system comes with the EV QuickSmart Mobile application, which allows you to quickly and wirelessly configure, control, and monitor up to six EVOLVE 50 systems simultaneously. This application also provides immediate notifications during critical performance conditions. High-quality Bluetooth audio streaming is available for background music or musical accompaniment, adding to the system's versatility.
The processing engine allows for easy setup via four presets (Music, Live, Speech, and Club), three-band EQ, five user-programmable presets (Store and Recall settings), output delay, phantom power (+15V), visual monitoring of limiter status, input level control and meters, and master volume control to ensure optimal gain structure.
