The EVF-1122D/99 is powered by the DH7N, a high-output 3" titanium compression driver, which is seamlessly coupled to a Constant Directivity 90-degree x 90-degree waveguide. This ensures a broad and consistent sound coverage. The system also features the DVX3121A 12" woofer, meticulously engineered using FEA optimization for motor, suspension, and electrical design. This results in minimal distortion, high efficiency, and maximum intelligibility even at high SPLs.

The crossover in this loudspeaker system employs steep, 24-dB-per-octave slopes with equalization, delivering a smooth response in the vocal range and linear off-axis response. The trapezoidal enclosure of the EVF-1122D/99 is constructed from weather-resistant birch and coated with EVCoat for maximum protection from the elements. Its unique acoustic and rigging design allows for vertical and horizontal clusters to be built using any combination of loudspeakers from the entire EVF and EVH series.

With seven horn patterns to choose from and an assortment of low-frequency and subwoofer loudspeakers, the EVF-1122D/99 offers maximum flexibility in system design, catering to various applications and budgets. The innovative input panel provides a choice of Phoenix style connector or the option to add a dual NL4-type connector cover plate or gland-nut cover plate for weatherizing applications.

The system also features an externally accessible jumper for selecting passive or active operation. An optional 70.7/100-V transformer kit can be easily mounted to the input panel for use in distributed systems.
