The EVID-S8.2T is renowned for its unparalleled ease-of-installation, thanks to the unique and innovative mounting system provided by Electro-Voice. This system allows for 90 degrees of horizontal rotation and 45 degrees of vertical rotation, facilitating easy installation on walls and ceilings. The mounting system arrives pre-assembled, ready to simplify your installation process.Powering the EVID-S8.2T is a 60 W transformer, offering selectable power outputs of 7.5 W (70 V only), 15 W, 30 W, or 60 W. This flexibility allows the speaker system to be powered using either 70 V or 100 V lines, or an 8 Ohm bypass for low impedance lines. The selection is conveniently done via a switch on the input panel located on the rear of the speaker.Engineered with a keen eye for durability, the EVID-S8.2T is built to withstand outdoor environments without compromising its indoor performance. It boasts an IP54 rating, with the cabinet and grille designed to resist the effects of sun, salt, and moisture. Available in black or white, all EVID-S models can be easily painted to match your decor. Transformer versions are also available for constant voltage systems. The EVID-S8.2T is part of the wide range of EVID surface mount speakers, designed to work in harmony as a complete system in various surface mount constructions, and can be used in combination with other EVID ceiling and in-wall speakers.
