The TX2152 is equipped with the ND2, a high-output 2" titanium compression driver, paired with a Constant Directivity 60-degree X 40-degree horn. This combination offers superior pattern control for medium throw applications. The dual SMX2151 15" woofers feature Finite Element Analysis (FEA) optimized magnet structures and shorting rings, ensuring ultra-low distortion and maximum intelligibility at high SPL levels.
The crossover in this loudspeaker uses steep 36 dB/octave slopes with equalization, providing a smooth response in the vocal range and a protection circuit for long-term reliability. The Electro-Voice TX2152 is versatile and well-suited for both portable and fixed installation applications.
The internally braced, trapezoidal enclosure is a blend of plywood and MDF, coated with EVCoat for maximum strength and durability. The unique grille design is robust, dent-resistant, and features a rotatable logo. Four-way handles allow for easy handling of the TX2152 in various positions.
For fixed installation applications, six 3/8" threaded points enable the TX2152 to be suspended in multiple positions. The recessed input panel with dual NL4 connectors keeps the connectors hidden, allowing for closer placement to a wall or other boundary. The TX2152 matches the width and height of the TX2181, providing a single column appearance when stacked and uses minimal space when stored or transported.
