The unique enclosure geometry and velocity compensated port design overcome the limitations of many small cabinet loudspeakers, enabling exceptional low-frequency response without vent noise.Installation of the ZX1i-100 is a breeze with the included QuickSAM mounting system. This innovative, integrated mounting bracket is virtually foolproof, allowing for easy installation and adjustment to the desired position. The ZX1i-100 features a special circuit that reconfigures to a current actuated Hi-Pass filter at the transformer primary when in transformer mode. This design gently rolls off the lowest frequencies to maintain a safe load on the amplifier without affecting the higher (vocal) frequencies, ensuring uninterrupted audio performance. Designed to withstand various environmental conditions, the ZX1i-100's molded polymer enclosure is inherently water-resistant. The addition of a multilayer grille with hydrophobic cloth and weatherized components further enhance its durability.
