This compact, easy-to-use loudspeaker is powered by advanced transducers, the heart of its high-quality sound production.The DVX3150, a high-performance low-frequency transducer, is the first of these. Utilizing advanced computer-aided design techniques, Electro-Voice has engineered a forced air, directional voice coil cooling system for enhanced power and efficiency. The suspension and magnetic structure have been optimized through finite element analysis, ensuring long, linear travel, reduced distortion, and extended low-frequency response. The result is a reliable, powerful loudspeaker with a 500W power rating, housed in a lightweight transducer, thanks to the use of forged magnetic components and special materials.The second transducer is the ND2, a 2" voice coil compression driver. Its neodymium motor structure allows for maximum output while minimizing size and weight. The precision phasing plug and titanium diaphragm enhance high-frequency performance, while the integral heatsink ensures cooling for high power output.The ZX5-60's enclosure is a marvel of modern design, crafted from injection-molded high-impact polypropylene structural foam for exceptional durability. The enclosure's geometry has been meticulously designed to maximize rigidity and bass response. The ZX5-60 also doubles as a perfect stage monitor, offering two angles (45 degrees or 55 degrees) without the need for additional accessories.Equipped with three anchor plates for rigging with single stud-fittings and two additional anchor plate attachment points on the bottom, the ZX5-60 is ready for any setup.
