This is the most portable speedlight modifier you can get and it works very well indeed. It greatly helps minimize the "flash look" from too much light from a concentrated source. Highly recommended.

If you understand how lighting works one or two of these modifiers can do the trick. Easy set-up and take-down. Travels light. I use Flashbenders for product and portrait photography and they rival my studio strobes for what I’m trying to accomplish. Excellent performance and value. I also have the grid-spot kit which I highly recommend.

Good quality, easy to put on. I haven’t had a chance to put it thru the paces yet. But from what I’ve seen just playing around with it, it’ll do it’s job.

This is the most versatile and portable light modifier in my kit. With the ability to use it four separate ways (bounce card, soft box, strip grid, or snoot) makes it indispensable in your use of speedlights for your creative vision. The flexible components are easy to manipulate and hold strong, and the attachment strap is robust and fits a good variety of speedlight heads. With it being as big as it is, if you try to use it overhead and parallel to the ground, I recommend turning the flash head 180° to keep the weight from folding the flash head down. The softbox and strip grid attach relatively quickly, and keep in mind the strip grid will have some sag, though that still proves to be effective in controlling the light. All in all, very very happy with my purchase! And it will be a key part of my location lighting kit.

This would have been a stellar product if the grid would have held itself tight and not collapsed it would have taken so little extra in the way of flexible wire to make this great. But without that working properly it's just a standard flashbender and not worth the premium the strip grid makes it cost. Otherwise it's a ok product.

When you absolutely don't have anything to bounce off of, these guys may help get you out of a jam. Remember though, the light will be harder because you're still utilizing a pretty small source.
