This durable and versatile tool is designed to securely mount your camera or photo accessories to nearly any flat or round object, boasting an impressive maximum load capacity of 16kg (35lb). The SX-MC Sidekick Magic Clamp is a testament to Explorer's commitment to high-quality and reliable photography equipment. It is equipped with an array of mounting points, including 1 x UNC1/4"-20 Male, 4 x UNC1/4"-20 Female, and 3 x UNC3/8-16 Female, ensuring it can adapt to almost any application. This sturdy clamp features two knobs for easy adjustment and secure locking. The smaller knob allows for quick adaptation to the approximate size of the object you're mounting to, while the larger flat knob ensures a firm grip. It can accommodate cylindrical objects up to 100mm in diameter, with an impressive range down to a minimum 15mm diameter. For flat objects like tables, it can lock onto surfaces up to 90mm and even grip very thin flat surfaces. The Sidekick Magic Clamp is designed with rubber pads at the mounting points to protect surfaces from scratches or damage. One of the mounting points even pivots, allowing it to adjust to the most unusual mounting surfaces. While it's a perfect match for the GX-01 Gravity ball head (sold separately), the Explorer SX-MC Sidekick Magic Clamp stands out on its own. Its unique design and functionality set it apart from other clamps in the market, making it an indispensable tool for both professional and amateur photographers and videographers.
