Despite its lightness, it boasts an impressive load capacity of 40kg (88.2lbs), making it versatile enough to support larger telephoto lenses while still being portable enough for camera bodies and lens combinations of all sizes.The EX-XL Epic Explorer is not just sturdy, it also enhances your shooting experience. Ball heads are known for their stability and the ability to provide faster, more accurate camera rotation, a feature that photographers will appreciate. The head tilts 90 degrees for quick and easy portrait orientation. The large main adjustment knob, equipped with a rubber grip and friction control, along with a separate 360-degree panning clamp, ensures fast and precise adjustments so you never miss a shot.The ARCA / RRS compatible quick release clamp broadens its compatibility with a wide range of quick release plates and L-brackets. It even includes an Explorer EX-60 QR plate in the package. The 3/8" thread socket and included 1/4"-3/8" brushing make it suitable for tripods from various manufacturers. The clamp, featuring the same hollowed-out design as the ball head, has an extra-large release lock to ensure the camera does not obstruct the release.The Explorer EX-XL Epic Extra Large Ball Head is CNC-machined from an aircraft-grade aluminum alloy and anodized with an oxidation treatment for a durable, high-quality finish. Its hollowed-out design makes it 20% lighter than similar-sized heads. The extra-large main lock, wrapped in comfortable rubber, ensures easy locking. The 360-degree panning base comes with an extra-long panning lock for a secure lock. The longer clamp lock is compatible with wider release plates and larger cameras, ensuring the lock will not be hidden under wider plates and larger cameras. Switching between vertical and horizontal shooting is a breeze with a dedicated notch for easy switching. The package includes the Explorer EX-60 Quick Release Plate Arca compatible plate and clamp.
