This is great for males but for well endowed females, it is problematic. Still might be able to be adapted for use, but the lack of locking rotating connectors were a disappointment. I realize that my issue will not come up for a lot of people, but it did for us.. If this is for a female, you may want to try to shoulder a real rifle or air rifle first, and if you have issues shouldering a rifle, then you may need a different approach.

I received the item and it would work great aside from the fact that the support rests on my abdomen so every time I breath the camera moves with me.

I bought this to use with my Sony HXR-NX30. The ideal behind it making it hands free was good but as in the other review breathing causes up & down movement with the strap that secures it to your body. I removed the strap but find it nice using as a shoulder support. I adjusted it so the front arm that rest against your front is further away. They should make the front arm support longer to rest at a lower part of your body. I also added a small handle on the bottom front for holding with my left hand. I will use this under my arm resting along my side for good stability. In all for $35.00 its a good support syatem for smaller cameras.

This is an inexpensive shoulder pod that works well with small and midsize camcorders. In the past I found that I could only shoot a short time with mmy camera before it got to feeling pretty heavy. This simple brace makes it easy to shoot handhed withoud all of the buld of other units on the market

Got this thinking it would be a steal. While it did work fantastically, one of the mounts broke off. After going through customer service multiple times, I finally got a replacement. It's been fine so far with limited testing. It's worth the price, and hopefully the broken one I received was a lemon.

The one thing that is a negitive is the you can see the camera move up and down on the footage as you breathe from the front arm that rests on your chest or stomach.
