The height between the ears that go around the flash head is 1.75 inches in the FX-2. We also have an FX-1, which we use on a Cactus AF-50. An FX-1 is 1 9/16 inches in height between the ear flaps. Here is the advice we got from one of the sites that sell Better Beamers: "If your flash unit is not listed here, measure the height of the flash head or refer to your flash manual. For those 1 9/16 inches in height, use the FX-1. For those 1 3/4 inches, use the FX-2. The FX-1B includes shims to fit units slightly smaller than 1 9/16 inches."
