Does the job excellently, but you are paying for the specialized nature of the design.

I have two different sizes of the HONL for PR shooting and they work great, I just often find that you might need an extra strap! I am not sure why the bigger size doesn't come with the strap, so make sure you always have an extra!

You can get something like the Scotch™ Bundling Wrap instead of this thing. $6 for a velcro is way too expensive

I have a Honl Photo Speed Strap for each Canon Speedlite in the event I may need to attach a modifier, whether brand name or DIY. These Speed Straps by Honl are quick to attach and hold most all modifiers securely.

This is a perfect product. It does exactly what it is suppose to do… hold gels ( among other things ) in place in front of a flash head. No more DUCT TAPE !!!!!

It is really well made for rough use and challenging environments. The velcro really sticks tightly, it doesn't slip off the speedlight, it grips on the speedlight. I got the gobo/bounce card with this and immediately experience it at my family photoshoot. I could give a 5 star rating if Honlphoto can sell it bundle with their products, that would be more appealing to most photographers.

Nice addition to your flash. With soooo many light modifiers coming to the market these days... this strap comes in handy. There are several companies making modifiers that use velcro to attach to your flash head. This strap allows for their use without sticking velcro to your flash permanately. With the sophistication and cost of speedlights, I was reluctant to glue velcro to my flash. This quick on / off strap saves your flash. Solid attachment, easy removal.

HoniPhoto products are not cheap. They are, however, examples of very well thought through products that make a photographer's work streamlined, with high quality output. Also supporting their price is their durability - the materials and workmanship are first rate, and as an added bonus, are made in the USA. This Speed Strap is no exception. It's rock solid when in place, can be left on the flash when you put away your equipment without space or damage concerns, and when removed, leaves your flash in pristine condition without the gummy residue left behind by tape or stick on velcro. This is a worthwhile purchase.

This is the only way to go for any attachments to your flash. I bought two speedlite flashes and I am not about to add any tape or adhevise to these exspensive pieces of equipment. You won't be sorry for this purchase.

I got this to use with Honl's set of color-correcting gels ("sold separately" as they say). The gels let you correct the flash tube's temperature to the wavelength of tungsten or fluorescent lighting so you don't mess up the color balance of a scene lit with both ambient lights and flash. The gels have Velco that attached to the"Speed Strap". You could also put Velcro on a couple of cards to make barn doors, or attach your own gel filters to the strap, etc.

This product works great and it's much better than permanent velcro strips that would interfere with other slip on diffusers. Not only would I recommend this for a friend, I bought him one when I got mine.

Great product! Keeps me from having strips of velcro attached to my strobe all the time and possibly keeping some slide on modifiers from attaching, as i can take it off whenever i want... perfect for gel use, as well as dyi gobos and bounce cards!

I just love it. It stays on my flash all the time. Switching attachments is quick and easy. I often use a softbox on my flash, with the Speedy Strap it's a matter of seconds and it never get's in the way if I use the flash without any accessories. It's very simple but very, very useful. Highly recommended. Stephan Peters

These straps come in great use for attaching almost any speedlight accessory to your flash. It keeps you from having to add the sticky velcro strips to your flashes, as well as fits compact into even the most stuffed camera bag, or you can carry it wrapped around your wrist or stuck in a pants pocket.

Put an end to rubber bands, tape or sticky residue from gluing velcro to your expensive strobes. The Speed Strap fits any shoe-mount strobe unit, attaches and removes in seconds, and provides a large wraparound surface area to quickly attach gobos, bounce cards, barndoors, and snoots. Non-slip so it won't budge when attached. (shown on a Canon 550EX).
