I need a way to connect to an older power pack with the 2 blade AC type connection this item was just the right thing to do the trick.

Rubbish

I was looking for a way to fire my Quantum Flash with my Phottix Stratus wireless using a 3.5 male sync cable cord and I found the Adorama Adaptor Mini 3.5 to household. First it didn't work but I had the polarity reversed when I plugged the Adorama Adaptor into my Quantum Flash. I reversed the plug into my Quantum flash and it worked perfectly. Needless to say I was happier than a pig in mud. Just buy it; it works. "My sharpest lens in my camera bag is my tripod"

Perfect for a Quantum Flash

I bought a Novatron light kit and to my dismay it required a household type connector. I could not use my wireless radio triggers. So I ordered these inexpensive adapters and they saved the day.

Saved the day

Rather than go thru sync cords and patch cords this lets tou connect directly to the pack and radio slave reciever. Insures greater reliability and foolproof operation. A workaround would not be nearly this easy and functional.
