Daniel K : So this rests on the front of the corrector plate - is it lined with some material to avoid scratching the corrector?JOSEPH R : The screws that hold the mask in place go through rubber grommets so there is no contact between the mask and the scope. One side of the mask is smooth so even if it did make contact is shouldn't do any harm. The screws do not screw into anything, the just rest gently on the side of the scope to hold the mask in place. I've not found any issues with it at all.JOHN F : I use this on a Newtonian, so no corrector plate to worry about. However, it is designed to be larger than the tube or dew shield. As long as your corrector plate does not protrude beyond the tube assembly, then you will be fine. Since you have a corrector plate, if you have a secondary assembly that extends beyond the tube, then by a version that has a circle cut out of the middle. Note there is not lining - it is just ABS plastic.BARRY E : The mask itself is flat plastic. It comes with three plastic/rubber screws that fit into the three slots you see in the picture. You adjust the screws within the slots to fit the end of the scope. For me (reflector), I adjust them so the screws fit on the outside of the OTA. I hope this helps!
