Good, but could be better.

Good, but could be better. The saddle does indeed grip very firmly but the clamp plate is not spring loaded. This makes it awkward to load a big and heavy telescope as one hand is needed to pull the clamp plate clear. I fixed it by adding my own springs.

Quality finder/guider saddle

Needed a vixen saddle for an 80mm finder/guider. Perfect for this and lightweight. Would not recommend for more than this. Lightweight built, wish the bolts were a little thicker. Again, great for a finder. I wouldn't go mounting a triplet refractor on there though. Excellent for what I needed, can move my guider from an sct to a refractor no problem with this.
