The ability to combine speedlights reduces my recicle time enabling me to shoot in burst mode. My only problem with it is having to carry a screwdriver for the umbrella shaft adjustment, it should of been some sort of thumb screw system. All together it's built quality is excellent combined with the removable 1/4-20 mount adapter which makes it extremely versatile.

The hole for the umbrella is too small. Kinda defeats the purpose of me buying it. It holds the speedlights fine but needs to be used with another adapter if modifiers are to be used.

Good quality all metal design, the only plastic is the knobs on the 3 shoes.

I like my shoe Mount but was disappointed that the umbrella hole was not adjustable and I was only able to use one of my umbrellas. My husband made a few adjustments and now I can use both my brackets

I used this with loaded with 3 flashes (1-580ex2, 1-sb600, 1-yongnuo 565ex) each with it's own yn-622 under them. I mounted it on my tripod and felt sturdy for some light duty work. The umbrella mount is friction mounted by is very steady for an umbrella. I've recommended a few friends already to it

Very solid, works as advertised. Some have remarked that the umbrella hole is too small. Actually, you just need to give it a good, firm push to pop it in. Once in, the umbrella shaft slides as necessary, with plenty of friction to keep it in place. I like to mount it on a monopod so my assistant can maneuver with it. Unfortunately, the thumbscrew used to tighten the flash mount on the side gets in the way. Went to the hardware store and replaced that thumbscrew with one that has a smaller profile. (Thumbscrew has an M4 thread.)

Good: allows easy attachment of 3 cold shoe devices (in my case 2 wireless lav mic receivers and a shotgun mic) and it's strong. Not so good but you can work around it: the nut on the very bottom that attaches to the camera cold shoe does NOT screw all the way down (a poor design). BUT you can put an inexpensive garden hose washer or similar rubber washer between the nut and the shoe, and it tightens down just fine. OR you can buy a cold shoe with screw adapter to replace this one (http://www.adorama.com/BR1VISLCSTA.html). This is what is should have had in the first place. You can find these for less if you shop around. Bottom line: This is a strong and effective multi-bracket mount. The cold shoe connection has to be addressed, but for this low price is probably worth the little extra effort to make it work properly. I didn't use the umbrella hole, so I have no comment on that.

Solid flash and stand connections. Had no alignment issues like other reviewers. A perfect way to put multiple hotshoe strobes on top of a light stand. The only drawback for me (and the reason I only gave 4 stars) is that the umbrella hole is small and friction-fastened rather than fastened with a screw. Hex-shank umbrellas are not likely to work well - in particular if you are inclined to choke in on the umbrella to change the quality of light. In can live with that drawback, especially for this price. But it is still a little annoying.

Great item I was able to put two small LED lights on the side and a shotgun micro phone in the top. Worked great.

I use this in video production to attach a LED light, wireless lav, and a shotgun mic to my dslr. Great piece of kit for a great price. You have to tighten the knobs on the bracket itself to make accessories secure, you cannot just slide accessory in and tighten on the accessory itself, not a big deal in my opinion. I had a hard time keeping it secure to my camera without a wiggle at first, but to solve the problem I took one of the two tightening screws used to secure the bracket to the camera, and relocated one of them to the top, above to the inside of the square and that solved the problem.

It will hold three flashes as advertised. It is sturdy nad steady. However, getting the umbrella through the hole is very difficult. I removed the screw and the metal holder, but that makes it too loose. So I put it back in, but I can barely get the umbrella in the hole and not through totally. So I would only use these when I have no other alternatives.

Had trouble keeping Pocket Wizards attached to OCF. This solved my problem and is more secure than velcro or straps.
