I am so happy with the Fitbit Inspire HR. I had used the Alta HR for a couple years and decided to "upgrade" figuring the technology is improved and I deserved a new one to enhance my healthy lifestyle. It is much more comfortable than my previous Fitbit (they designed it a bit differently to make for better heart rate monitoring and therefore the strap lays nicer) and I like that it has a slim profile (my personal preference is for something not too noticeable). Adorama had a competitive price and shipped it right away so as far as buying it from them I give that 5 stars as well. There are lots of third party straps available online to coordinate with your ensemble! Fitbit is a great tool in my opinion to INSPIRE (pun intended) you to keep stepping!

Can't reliably pair with iPhone. Counts steps well.

After debating between a few models, settled on this one as it had what I needed at a relatively low price. I use it mostly for sleep tracking and heart rate, two indicators that I believe gives me the best idea of my current and future health. It lags a bit when your HR changes abruptly, but that's to be expected. Sleep tracking works fine, although, not unlike my teachers at school, it sometimes thinks I'm sleeping when I'm not. There are a couple things I feel it's missing, however. First, it requires an internet connection for syncing with the phone, which is probably the worst way of collecting your personal health data. It's bad enough that they take the data; it's worse when you can't sync your device when they can't take your data. Second, because of the sync limitations, it won't track sleep accurately if you travel across multiple time zones. You may be able to get it to work if you maintain internet access throughout and sync it every time you cross a time zone, but it won't work if you are on an airplane and asleep while it crosses them. So no sleep data during international travel, which is probably when you need it the most. Other than that, no real complaints. Battery lasts long enough (a couple weeks with conservative use and after disabling raise to wake and the charging is fairly quick. Data is fairly accurate considering its limitations, and for outdoor workouts, it can utilize the phone's GPS to provide nike run-style maps. I would recommend it to anyone not concerned with forking over their data to fitbit.

Nothing to complain about. Works as advertised and battery life is good enough (1-2 weeks depending on wake settings). The only gripe I have is that it doesn’t cope well with time zone changes - all your data when changing time zones will be messed up, or in case of sleep, lost. The problem is made worse as the device requires an internet connection to sync.

The new update has made this a little better, but it still has its flaws. Cons: It dies very quickly with the heart rate monitor turned on. It also dies quickly with screen wake on. Even with screen wake turned off, the screen will randomly turn on when I move my wrist certain ways. Also, screen wake will turn itself back on. Alarm sometimes makes the whole thing freeze up and needs to be restarted. Pros: Comfortable band (although it would be nice to have a small band size option). The screen is big and clear. Charges very fast. I can't say anything about the waterproof part, because I typically use shower or swim time to charge it since the charge was not holding well at all before the update. The charge is better now, but still not amazing.

I bought this thinking it would track my walking only to learn that it any arm movement counts as a step basically ( making dinner even counts. It does however tell me how badly I sleep!

I have had my Fitbit Inspire HR for three months now and love it. It has a wide range of what you can track while you exercise, while you sleep, and while you are awake. It has helped me to be more aware of how much water I drink, what I eat and my calories and how much I move around. The only think I did notice is when I use my Fitbit at the gym with my phone, it does draw my phone battery down, but I just make sure I charge my phone during dinner and have it fully charged when I go to the gym. I also like that I can set the notification on my Fitbit to my phone so it vibrates when I have a text or phone call because while at work, I have to keep my phone on vibrate and don't always know I have a text or if I missed a phone call. Great investment.

Super lightweight and I barely notice it’s there! The battery also lasts forever!

I got this for my wife and she loves it. Best part about this is not having to charge every day like regular watch but also having some flexibility to get notifications, texts etc in the watch even though its main focus is fitness. Look wise it is very simple and elegant design and interchangeable straps makes strap upgrades alot easier. The fitbit app is amazing and its tracking abilities are very helpful. All in all we love it.
