I think that this is a wonderful little rig for the beginner or someone trying to get into the 15mm rail environment. It's customizable and looks sleek. If I would ever purchase this again there would be two things I consider. The first is that the front handles are made of plastic and twist to lock on to a rail. I would be wary of trusting them with the weight of the rig and camera because with the right leverage they can spin undone and slide off. Second and less minor it the mounting for the quick-release plate is mostly plastic, it will bend and move around slightly while on your shoulder depending on the weight of the rig. the mattbox that comes in the kit is quite great for the price and functions well. Despite the first two previously mentioned observations this kit is earned every one of its 4 starts from me. Fantastic simple little hand held rig.

Two minor things and the rest is great!

Light weight, portable, easy to build and adjust.
