It's fully prepared for the migration to video over IP, setting the stage for the IP maps that are being planned for tomorrow's infrastructure. Designed with live events in mind, this durable converter box is housed in a heavy-duty aluminum enclosure. It features a sturdy built-in fiber optic connector, allowing for direct connection to the main cable and facilitating SDI transmission over long distances, up to 1080p60. The Converter One 3G is also incredibly versatile in its mounting options. It comes with 1/4" inserts at the top and bottom of the box, enabling easy mounting on a pod or rig, or attachment of a clamp for secure truss mounting. Two additional 8.2mm drillings through the enclosure make it simple to use cord, rope, or tie wrap for quick fixing, or to cascade multiple converters using tubes or nods. This innovative converter is a two-channel fiber optic to 3G SDI converter with dual SDI output for both channels. It also includes a built-in FieldCast connector for direct connection to the robust 2Core SM FieldCast Main Cables.
