Doing nature and wild life photography requires a lot of "grab the camera "quick " and shoot with little or no time to fool around wiht the lens cap. On the other hand I got tired of replacing them or cleaning them afterbeing dropped in the sand , mud water. I've tried a few different brands but was not satisfied since the cap would often come loose from the plastic "button" Fotodiox so far as not failed me once and is easy to remove from he lens if I'm shooting land or seascapes when it's windy. Well made product. Pat Lynch

Don't lose any more lens caps - the Fotodiox Pro CapTrap keeps your lens cap close at hand. An adhesive-backed disc secures the lens cap to the paracord which wraps around the lens barrel. The cord lock on the paracord allows the CapTrap to be adjusted to fit virtually all lenses regardless of size as well as let you choose how far you want the cap to hang away from the lens so it won't dangle too far or get in your way. The cap remains securely tethered while shooting and is within easy reach for retrieval when finished. Works with all types of lens caps; inner-pinch and snap-on. Purchase one for each of your lenses and never lose a cap again!
