Pretty good, especially considering the price

This is a very nice accessory; the connection to the lens feels solid, and the ring is easy to attach and adjust on the lens. My only complaint is that the base plate of the collar isn’t Arca-Swiss.

I've only been able to use my new tripod mount with my 70-200 Canon a few times. Performs well. True test will be used at racetrack.

Buy this and save a bundle!

Likely to give this mount 5 stars but just haven't had it long enough to rate it more than 4. Certainly seems strong and secure enough to do the job and initial tripod use was trouble free. For the money difference from the Canon mount this seems like a steal!

The Canon Tripod Mount Ring is the tripod collar for the Canon EOS EF 70-300mm F4-5.6L IS USM Lens. By adding a tripod collar to your lens you can achieve better balancing on a tripod. The tripod ring also makes a big difference in minimizing vibrations. In addition, rotating the camera will now be much easier and faster. The ring is very easy to put on and take off the lens as the lens does not need to be removed from the camera.
