Nice Continuous Lighting Suppliment

I purchased the Fotodiox light primarily to use as a color balanced light source for my oil painting however I can see that this will be a very portable supplemental light source for my portrait photography work as well. My only complaint is that the battery only lasts about two hours before needing recharging.

This light is exactly what we were looking for in a mobile, daylight option that was powerful enough to work in exterior locations.

The Fotodiox LED-209A is a professional, powerful, yet lightweight light that uses 209 ultra bright 5600k LEDs. The daylight balanced LEDs offer full spectrum, beautifully soft light to make the ideal choice for both location and studio, photo and studio video production. The removable diffusion panel allows the light to be diffused as needed for most shooting scenarios and can be used to hold a number of additional gels and/or diffusion cloths to be added to help control and create the perfect lighting.

The magnetic tungsten panel helps balance the daylight bulbs for tungsten shooting without diminishing light output. The LED-209A is dimmable from 10%-100% power to adjust the light output as needed. The LED-209A rear battery mount uses Sony L-Series batteries for replaceable ease and portable power.
