Fitment to the E mount side is perfect. No play and not overly tight.

I am reviewing the M42 to Sony E Mount version. It fits perfectly to the camera, no radial play, and the bayonet tightness is exactly like a native Sony lens. So, good. I haven't fitted an M42 lens to it yet so that's all I can say. It looks good too.

Makes the connection. Infinity focus seems iffy. Not a lot of use. The to Canon adapter worked better and had focus confirmation beep. For some reason it's really large, stepped off and that may exacerbate focus issues.Recommend? Yes and No. Wouldn't be my first choice, but cheap.

Good but for the money.

PROS: Good all metal build quality. Very simple use. Fits E mount camera well. CONS: No gaskets to keep dust/moisture out. Leaves sensor exposed on my A7 III when changing M42 lenses due to no glass internally.
