We tested a number of F - EF mount adapters and these were the best fit. Had one of four arrive with a faulty lens release mechanism, but was replaced. Beware, all F - EF adapters have to be unmounted from the lens after the lens it removed from the body.

First, the good part: it works as intended, no problem there. Now the bad news: I mounted it on the body first, and then mounted the lens. When I wanted to remove the adapter from the body, it was almost impossible to do. So hard in fact that my thoughts went to a pipe wrench! I finally, with all the finger strength I could muster, got it off. Then I mounted it first on the lens and then on the camera, and that was much better, but it is still very tight. Third: for $ I would have guessed I would also get a plastic case for it, but no such thing. Don't know about other brands, but I wouldn't recommend this to a friend - or buy another one.
