Shopper : Would this work with a PENTAX K1000?ANDREW R : I don't believe so. It's really designed for use on DSLRs with APS-C sensors.

You can shoot with manual mode or aperture priority mode. Infinity focusing is guaranteed with the built-in 1.4x Multi-Coated Focus Correction Lens. "

Wonderful product, well made, does what it is supposed to!

Order a KF adaptor, completely defective junk, KF didn't back it! So I ordered this one and couldn't be more pleased with it. It works very well and I have order other Fotodiox adapters since. Now I only go through Adorama for these.Wonderful product, well made, does what it is supposed to!

Fotodiox Mount Adapter

As with other people after you have shot many cameras and have many lenses, (most of them expensive) you may not want to sell any, or very few of these lenses as the years go by and you trade-up to another camera or different camera body. With the brand "Fotodiox" , and the fact that you can get one of these adapters reasonably that seems to fit every time, a photographer can change camera bodies & still shoot with his/her favorite lenses. I rate these adapters (5) star for availability, reasonable $'s spent and most important they always fit.

Awsome adapter.

I have a Pentax k5 IIs DSLR, and I treasure the fact I can use old pentax glass. Now I can use old Nikon ai lenses as well. Nikon ai lenses are simply some of the best lenses ever made. Lenses today simply do not have the quality of old solid aluminum and glass lenses from the 70's. The mount fits tight, and is well made. Its a no-brainer for ($)
