I received the Rhinocam adapter about two weeks ago and have used it to connect my Hasselblad 60mm f/3.5mm lens to my Fuji X-T2. There are no instructions for the Rhinocam provided by the manufacturer and I'm still at a loss as to if they provided me the wrong case as the foam doesn't match the adapter properly. So be sure to visit youtube or the Fotodiox website for instructions on how to use the adapter. My unit had the L-shaped bracket which controls the vertical motion of the back installed upside down. After a few minutes of confusion and about 90 seconds of work with a screwdriver this problem was resolved. The adapter works very well. The lens clicks easily into place, the plate slides smoothly, and the camera adapter is secure. Rotating the camera from horizonal (for panoramic) to vertical (for 6x4.5) is easy and there's a screw to tighten the mount so that the camera doesn't rotate. On the downside, it helps to have small fingers. The space between the camera and the adapter is very tight and it makes it difficult to tighten the screw once the camera is in place. Removing the camera is similarly fussy as the little lever that depresses the lens release button on the camera isn't quite aligned. So some more thought into usability needs to go into this device. I used a hiking ballhead tripod on my initial trip and for the future I'll be sure to use a heaver tripod. The adapter isn't very heavy but it is considerably wider than a camera and will affect stability on lightweight tripods. When I went to process the photos in lightroom I found that it was able to successfully create panoramas about 30% of the time. This may be due to the limited overlap between frames. The dots don't provide the 40% overlap that photoshop asks for in its auto-align function. So there was a bit of manual work but not too bad. I think if I took photos with less negative space (the day was overcast so little detail in the sky) lightroom would have been able to get a higher percentage of sets merged automagically. Overall its a very effective device but the manufacturer could put a little more care into the usability and packaging of the device. Instructions would be nice and matching the bloody case to the ordered adapter should be a no-brainer.

The RhinoCam is a camera system that, for the first time in the digital age, puts the power of a medium format back into the hands of virtually any photographer. Utilizing the more affordable Canon EOS Digital camera sensor, RhinoCam enables photographers at any level to capture the dramatic detail and sharpness only available with a sensor three times larger than even a high-end full-frame 35mm sensor. The RhinoCam delivers stunning 140+ megapixel images while offering photographers their choice of low-cost sensor options and classic lenses.
Capable of creating dramatic 645 medium format images previously reserved for photographers working with expensive medium format back cameras, RhinoCam is ideal for landscape, commercial and architectural photographers seeking remarkably high resolution at a fraction of the cost. RhinoCam couples a Hasselblad V medium format lens with a Canon EOS (EF or EF-s) DSLR camera. The built-in Composition Screen enables photographers to preview the composed shot. The lens remains firmly in place while the RhinoCam's moving platform positions the sensor for multiple precisely-positioned exposures.
RhinoCam offers a cost-effective alternative to full size medium format back options which cost 20 to 30 times more than most 35mm digital cameras. This innovative system makes it possible for photographers to achieve the high quality resolution, detail and sharpness found in images taken with medium format cameras. After the capture process, it takes seconds to merge the multiple exposures into one larger image using automated stitching functions built into Adobe Photoshop and other software options. The result is a 645 medium format photograph that is well over four times the normal resolution of a high-end full-frame 35mm camera sensor.
