This works well. It fits snugly, but is not overly tight. I have seen complaints about them being difficult to remove from the camera, but I think that may be happening when the flange is large enough to overlap the lens release button. Be a little aware of that when putting it on, and maybe use a short extension tube if the button will be hard to reach or if it seems like it would partially push the button.

I gave it 5 stars because I believe it was exactly as described. Problem is, I bought the wrong type for my camera. I needed the "G" series for my digital Nikon D5100. (This was for an "F" mount. "F" mounts will mount to "G" , but it messes up the aperture reading. Contact Fotodiox or other local expert before buying something like this. I know I wish I had.

This works but fit is a little tighter than I’d like. I use it on an extension tube so no risk to the camera. It is functional, but just a little too tight.

Using the reverse adapter with Nikon Z6 was difficult. After attaching to front of lens and attaching to camera, I took pictures with no problem. Trying to take lens off camera was awful. I wound up having to unscrew lens fist, leaving adapter on camera, than struggle to remove adapter from camera. Reverse adapter works. But it is scary to have lens off, sensor exposed and my hand in the camera trying to get the adapter to disengage.

I love taking macro photos and use this with another adapter with a m42 Takumar 28mm f3.5. Wonderful combination and allows me to take pictures I otherwise would not get. Great setup.

Excellent fit. Appears to be very good quality and I will continue to enjoy using it for macro photography. No more holding a lens backwards and hand focusing. I can get more stable shots on a tripod.

Well built - works fine. I am using it to get a high magnification with Nikon 50mm/f1.2 (manual lens) on a full frame Nikon camera with very good results.

I am new to photography and usually don't know what I need or want. The guy I talked to was cool with my ignorance, asked me a few questions and sent me what I needed.Got what I ordered.

The lens must be moved in and out from the subject to focus which can be tricky. small apertures and flash helps to achieve depth of field.
