Perfect replacement!

Perfect replacement for Mustang GT-40 headphone jack. Was a pain to desolder the broken one and solder this in, but that's not this product's fault. :)

Not a repair for amateurs

It did not take long for the 1/8" jack to break on my Fender Mustang Amp. If you use anything other than lightweight cords you will probably experience the same. I was very pleased to see Adorama had the replacement part for a very reasonable price. Assuming the break would happen again in time, I even ordered and extra part. In order to replace the part, there is a fair amount of amp disassembly required to gain access to the part location. The location is inside a stacked circuit board and would require soldering directly to the board. See image. I have soldering experience, but decided that it would be better handled by some one with more expertise.
