Sold out everywhere but managed to scoop one up at Adorama. This is basically a custom shop guitar without the custom shop price. The Pure Vintage ’59 single-coils are definitely up there with some of the best Strat pickups made available in years. The ash body is what really elevates the tone of this guitar to new heights even when compared to the alder versions. To my ears the ash gives it a comparably rounder and slightly mellower tone with chiming highs that aren't too bright. So If you want that bell like vintage Strat sound, look no further than this guitar….but good luck trying to find one though. Besides that, shipping was incredible fast, customer service was excellent and arrived in perfect condition.

Because the American Original '50s Stratocaster Electric Guitar in Inca Silver is a testament to Fender's legacy of innovation and style, it remains a timeless classic in the music industry. This sleek and stylish instrument, first introduced in 1954, revolutionized the world of electric guitars with its articulate sound and groundbreaking features.
The American Original '50s Stratocaster continues to uphold Fender's original-era style and pioneering tone, while incorporating modern enhancements such as improved pickup switching. Its glossy, Inca Silver finish is not just aesthetically pleasing but also functional. The nitrocellulose lacquer finish allows the guitar's body to resonate with its true tonal character, while aging and wearing in a uniquely personal way.
This shiny Stratocaster is equipped with Pure Vintage '59 Pickups, specially voiced to reproduce the authentic sound and performance of the model's original year. The thick "Soft V" neck shape subtly smooths the sharpness of a traditional "V" profile, making it more comfortable for both rhythm and lead playing.
Every curve and line of the vintage-accurate body and neck radii are meticulously crafted to match the historic originals, ensuring a genuine feel for original-era fans. The vintage-correct hardware, from the bridge to the string tree and tuning machines, mirrors the original design in every detail.
The guitar's maple fingerboard and frets are designed with the player's comfort in mind. The 9.5"-radius fingerboard is slightly flatter than a vintage-style 7.25" radius, offering a more comfortable fret-hand feel. The vintage-tall frets facilitate easier note bending without fretting out, making this guitar not just a stylish choice, but a practical one for any musician.
