American Professional Stratocaster - A Great Guitar

It is not often that I treat myself to something special, but this seemed to be the right time and guitar to do it. I started playing guitar again last year after a 50 year break and I was amazed at how quickly my playing has improved. I never ever had or played a guitar this nice before, it sounds great and plays well. It is everything I expected it to be.

Nice guitar, poorly set up.

Very nice guitar, but it was poorly set up and does not match "factory default" neck reliefs, action heights, and bridge gap. Maybe it has something to do with it being "open-box" model.

Great guitar, great service

Fender has really stepped up the Professional Series. The Shawbucker is great, vintage sounding, lower output pickup. Humbuckers will never be balanced with single coils, but if you are used to using the volume and tone controls (as you should be), you will find it very comfortable. Highly recommended.
