LET ME START BY SAYING THAT I HAVE A 2019 FENDER MIM STRAT PLAYER SERIES BUT THIS FENDER AMERICAN PRO II IS FAR GREATER QUALITY. AS SOON AS I PLAYED IT, I WAS IMPRESSED ON THE ACTION AND LOVED THE TWO POINT BRIDGE WITH POP-IN TREMOLO ARM..LOVED THE SUNBURST FINISH..

So , I've had this a little over a month. I come from a hard rock and heavy metal background so I never had purchased a true stratocaster. Last year I started playing worship and pop style music so I wanted something other than a Les Paul or Floyd Rose guitar with active pups. This has become my favorite guitar in that it is so versatile. The sounds you get are so different! The clean tones are terrific! If you want to chug this may not be the guitar for you. But if you play any other style music, this strat is a gem!

I am very happy with my new Fender strat. The guitar was absolutely flawless out of the case. It was love at first strum. The dark night blue/black color is spectacular. The push-pull button is a very cool and very usable function. The guitar also came with a very sturdy and classy case. I absolutely love it!

Absolutely love this Strat. I?ve owned plenty from avri, squier, to custom shops. This ranks up there in fit finish and feel. Absolutely love the vmod ii?s, they?re very similar to my lollar blackface pickups I have in another Strat. Great playability and the Mercury finish is solid too

Nice blend between some modern appointments while keeping vintage vibe

I have a Mexican strat but wanted to try the newest American version so I got this one. There were several color options and of course maple or rosewood fretboards. I got one that looks like my Mexican strat but has a black pick guard instead of white. It definitely feels nicer, the frets are bigger and it sounds great. One of the tone knobs has a push pull switch that adds a little change in tone but almost not enough to mention, more of a gimmic. The fender case is very high quality. When I first got it, the strings were higher on one side, then I noticed that the bridge was on top of the chrome screw that is supposed to hold it down. I just loosened the strings and put it below that screw and the action was great after the change. I love buying from Adorama because they ship fast and I know if there is ever a problem with the product, they will refund or replace it free.

Such a massively cool guitar. I like the second tone knob that allows you to mix the bridge or middle pickup with neck pickup. Very nice feature. I also have a Pro II Precision bass (bought it from Adorama as well) and the quality in both the Stratocaster and the Precision bass is incredible. I've been playing since 1963, and these are some of the nicest instruments from Fender yet!!! Pricey, but really worth it.
