An icon since its introduction in 1960, the Fender Jazz Bass found its place in the hands of bassists across almost every genre and style with its stylish and comfortable offset body, versatile dual pickup configuration and playable slim neck profile. Sixty years later, we're proud to celebrate that timeless design with a limited-run Road Worn Jazz Bass that captures the charm of a well-loved original.
The single-coil Jazz Bass pickups deliver authentic, original-era tone. The "Mid '60s C"-shaped neck has a 9.5"-radius fingerboard with 20 Medium Jumbo frets for comfortable playing feel. A vintage-style, 4-saddle bridge with threaded saddles and reverse, open-gear tuning machines provide classic aesthetics, rock-solid performance and tuning stability. Other features include 34" scale length, chrome hardware and 4-bolt neck plate. Includes a deluxe gig bag.
Road Worn Lacquer Finish
Nitrocellulose lacquer is a vintage-accurate finish that wears gradually over time, creating a pleasantly worn-in appearance with use. Our Road Worn Nitro finish is hand-distressed to faithfully recreate the look and feel of a well-loved vintage instrument.
Mid '60s "C" Neck Profile
Remarkably comfortable, the Mid '60s "C"-shaped neck profile is sculpted for a vintage-style playing feel-thinner at the first fret, thicker at the twelfth.
60th Anniversary Jazz Bass Single Coil Pickups
The vintage-accurate single-coil pickups deliver the growling, punchy tone that made Fender famous.
Period-Accurate Fingerboard
With 20 vintage-style frets and a 7.25"-radius fingerboard, this model provides the comfortable playing feel of a vintage instrument.
Vintage-Style 4-Saddle Bridge
This bridge features threaded saddles for period-correct aesthetics, solid intonation and action adjustment.
Vintage-Style Tuning Machines
A cool touch, the reverse open-gear tuning machines offer a dash of style from the 60s.
