Great guitar for the price

Got this guitar for 399.99 with the custom hard shell case. It’s very convenient that it comes with the tool to adjust the neck for setting action. Mine came set up very well. Visually well designed and detailed. Sound is very full and cuts right through.

Great Sounding Guitar

I bought this guitar because it was on sale for a price that was too good to pass up. I was previously unfamiliar with Fender’s Paramount series of acoustic guitars, but after checking out the specifications and reviews I decided to give one a try. I’m very happy that I did, and am very pleased with the build quality, beautiful finish and sound. The sound is balanced and clear, very similar to some Gibson dreadnaughts that I’ve played.

Fenders top acoustics

Beautiful looking and sounding. Not a Taylor or Martin but it’s own distinct sound and feel.

Great All-Around Guitar

I snagged this guitar while it was on sale and couldn't be happier. It is solidly built, the electronics have worked flawlessly, and it sounds great plugged in or on it's own. It's a beautiful guitar and I am very satisfied with the purchase.

Great value solid body acoustic

Great neck, fit and finish are flawless. The Fishman preamp is underwhelming and I'm worried that pushing on the display to turn the tuner on and off might end up breaking it.

Fender Paramount PM-1 Deluxe

This addition to Fender's latest line of acoustic guitars is very well built and finished. The sunburst looks great, and the action was low without buzzing. The Fishman pickup/preamp sounds good and the controls are done tastefully. The bass response is less than what would be expected for a rosewood dreadnought but works nicely in an amplified setting. Kudos to Fender!

Very impressed with looks, sound, built-in tuner and case.

Actually, I am a bass player. But have had another guitar for many years. I wanted one that would keep its tune and was easier to play. When 'Adorama' offered the discount on this I knew it was meant to be. I have enjoyed practicing on it the last week or so. Although, I'm not carrying it around in my car I do believe it would stay in tune with minimal tuning. I have only tuned all 6 strings once and a couple of times have tuned a couple of other strings! Since the tuner is 'top side' with the controls, it wouldn't be too hard to re-tune it if carried to gigs, rehearsal, etc. The only thing I have noticed was a slight dent in one of the strings and the pick guard doesn't seem to want to clean off (get rid of streaks). But, I'm pretty sure I can take care of those 2 minor issues. Overall: Super looks (has a "rich" look and feel to it), great sound (using just un-amped), good playability and one pleased owner!

Amazing build and sound

The construction of the guitar is of the finest quality. The sound of the guitar is rich and light. It has fishman electronics onboard so that is awesome. I hook it up with my iPad and the PC to record. There's a hardcase included which has velvet fabric stitched inside.

Nice guitar.

I bought this at a great price and couldn't be happier. The guitar is very light, which is nice. The neck is thin so it's easy to move around on. The sound is bright, BUT since it is acoustic/electric you should be able to get any sound you want from it. The inlays are small and tastefully done, and I really like the tuning keys. It's a nice looking guitar. The case is nice and should protect it well.

Pleasant Surprise

I lowered the action just personal preference. Tone was great right out of the box. Electronics are ok. Well made solid wood guitar with lots of attention to details. Was a steal at $. It's the best Fender acoustic I've played.

All The Right Stuff

First, this guitar is made in China. I know, I used to avaoid buying instruments made in Chine too. but there was a time when Made in Japan meant cheap. Now they make many things better than American made products. well China has come a long way and I believe, at least from this Fender product line, they are as good as Korea which was the new lower priced manufacturer of guitars after japan. This guitar is made with high quality materials, SOlid Spruce Top, Solid Indian rosewood back & Sides, Ebony fretboard & Bridge (usually only on higher priced guitars) and Fishman Electronics ( also top of the line) . Although Fender is not known for its Acoustic guitars, this series competes with many of the known acoustic makes like, Alvarez, Yamaha & Takamine. It's not a Martin or Taylor but it's not priced like one either. this guitar is for someone who wants a quality guitar but may not be ready or able to shell out $

Beautiful guitar!

A very attractive guitar to look at. The sound is rich, large but mellow. I have only played it accoustically, so do not know how it sounds with an amp,.The action is a bit higher then I would like and I will have it lowered. I have only owned this guitar for 10 days but would definitely but it again.
