Sorry, didn’t mean to flag the other reviewer. Just wanted to post a reply stating information for future customers. Aurisonics was acquired by Fender. So the guy missing aurisonics, basically just bought aurisonics, with their new fender branding. FXA line has stayed as is from Aurisonics.

For the price you probably can't do better. Really good sound reproduction, and I got a great price at Adorama. Glad I got them.

I'll start off with the sound quality. These sound absolutely fantastic. The bass and sub bass is the best I've heard. The FXA6 is perfect for EDM and Rock. I've previously owned the UE Triple Fi 10's and in my opinion these just sound much more fuller. Probably due to you being able to feel the bass. At first I thought the highs were too much, but now they sound perfect. Not sure if it was burn in, or the various tips I've tried. I am currently using JVC Spiral Dots which are perfect for these IEM's. I found the sureseal tips these come with to fit great, but they seem to attract wax and get wet after long periods of use. They also popped when i opened my jaw. My biggest complaint was that the sureseal tips seem to put a sunction are your ear drum. When you pulled the tip out it felt like I had a toilet plunger to my eardrum. My main gripe with these is the cable. It's a bit short, and mine originally shipped with a faulty one. The left IEM would cut out. I contacted Andy at Fender and he immediately overnight-ed me a new cable, with no questions asked. The replacement cable fixed the issue and seemed to have a better snap into the connectors than the original. Overall, highly recommended. For the price, I expected a few more accessories (various tips), but I guess I cannot complain when they sound so superb.

Some time ago I had the Aurisonics 2.5 which I did like very much but eventually sold it to try other iems. After some time I started missing the sound of the 2.5 and the sound of an iem with a dynamic driver in it. I usually feel that an all BA design ends up falling short of what I would call a more natural presentation of the sound. Sound: Bass is big and bold but not flabby or loose. Mids are very well done and I feel these are very good with vocals and electric guitars. Highs have enough presence but do take a backseat vs the bass and mids. Soundstage feels more open and natural vs other iems imo. Comfort: Ergonomics and comfort is very good. Being over the ear design i have no problems with microphonics. I use these at a short insertion depth and the shell still fit flush with my ears. I have noticed some discomfort in my left ear after wearing them for over an hour but this might be due to the fact that I wear glasses and the "earpiece" part of my glasses seems to add to the discomfort over an extended period.
