This is a great set of studio speakers, I set these up in a small home studio for music recording and they are great. Very powerful and can use on the go for an impromptu karaoke session, maybe not to fill a music venue but definitely great portability!

Received my pair and I can verify that they do sound very good. Extension down to 50 Hz is accurate. However there is room for improvement if you are willing to modify them. I carefully pried out the woofer and I think that is where most of the manufacture costs are with these b/c the enclosures are just simple plastic shells. The woofers do seem well made and have a hefty magnet - always a good thing. But to improve the enclosure, I lined the inside of each with Dynamat as well as filling each with more acoustic stuffing. That tightened up the low end a bit, and now I'm very happy with how these sound. No subwoofer needed. The added portability really makes these a great purchase for the on-sale price, but you can find better for the full price of $. No regrets here as I caught them on sale.

I could not demo them before I ordered them. It was little skeptical. But I test my luck on the reputation of Focal and Fender. Adorama shipped them very fast. I have never experienced this level of sound. These make very accurate sound. According to my research, drivers in Fenders are same as Focal CMS series. I have asked a focal technician to make sure it fits on Fenders. After he confirmed it, I ordered the phase plugs for my fenders. I really recommend these to anyone who is looking for speakers under ($).

These Fender Focal speakers are very good, considering the price I paid. We like its accuracy in sound and portability. Hook up to either a PC or a laptop is extremely easy, even though the mini pin cable is not included. The rear storage with magnetic closure is very convenient when carrying it from place to place, and even more convenient with its included handle clasp. The speakers are not to big to be portable. When hooked up, the sound produced is good enough to fill a sizable room. I'm quite happy with my purchase with Adorama's fast free shipping.

I got these monitors when they were on sale for $($)!!! What a steal! The Focal drivers sound incredible. The most obvious quality of these monitors is the power. The 150 watts is more than enough to feel a room. I haven't used them for their portability, but the cable stow away compartment in the back is pretty cool. I would definitely recommend buying these monitors.

This is the studio version, I had thought this one had the mixer included. I will be able to use them, but if you want really good sound go high, its worth it.

I thought these were a cute idea until I realized that these monitors come packed with Focal drivers! The sound is detailed and true. Overall great quality. I always need to move my studio monitors around to various locations and have started keeping the cardboard boxes they ship in just so I have something to keep them safe while I transport them. Needless to say, these monitors now act as my mobile setup. They sound right and I am not worrying about by drivers getting smashed in!

This is my first set of monitors, and while I'm only using them as computer speakers, they are brilliant! The build quality is great and the sound is amazing, they sound great at low volumes and can be pushed quite loud if needed. Haven't noticed any tinniness/harshness which I'm pretty sensitive to. Highly recommended :)

To be perfectly honest I haven't had a chance to use these yet. They appear well made. Convenient to carry. I look forward to making use of them once I have the house cleared up and space to set things up.
