Beautiful guitar that plays great after some fret leveling

Nicely made guitar and very nice tone with the solid cedar top. Out of the box had a lot of fret buzz. Needed truss rod adjustment first and had many uneven frets. After fixing those two issues and oiling the fret board it plays and sounded great. I got it on sale at a deep discount and it was totally worth what I paid for it. I think at full price I would have gone with something else, probably a Yamaha.

Nice cheap cedar top guitar

Beautiful guitar that has a neck that is easy on the beginner. The tone is sweet AFTER a string change. The strings that come on it just make it sound dead and dull. I changed the strings to phospher bronze (11-52) and it came alive. I was very happy to find a cedar top at this price.

Fender FSR CC-60S Concert Acoustic Guitar is an Excellent Value!

I'm a total beginner on guitar and I'm loving the Fender CC-60S concert acoustic guitar! I like that the concert style guitar is smaller than the dreadnaught style, making it more comfortable to play. The guitar is nicely set up and easy to tune and seems to stay in tune pretty well. It's also a very nice looking guitar, the natural wood finish is attractive. I would definitely recommend this guitar to anyone looking for a great value in a guitar!

Just got mine today. Mine sounds amazing and the action is much lower than other Fender acoustics I've bought right out of the box. Pictures show color and size comparison to some other Fenders for reference.

Works for a beginner

My guitar does not have any obvious defects in it's construction, which is more then I can say for some other guitars around this price point. The lightweight strings it came with make it easy to play for an acoustic. Sounds pretty good to me. Even smells nice, faintly like cut hardwood.

Expected better

I bought this guitar becuase I thought it might give me some inspiration to get to playing again. And, it is a nice guitar but I find I like my 40 year old Montaya better. The action on the Fender is a little high and it doesn't have the resonance of my Montaya (not as deep and full). Part of this can be the depth of the box and the newness of the strings. I'll continue to play it and hopefully come to enjoy it as much. But, out of the box with a couple hours in, I really expected something a little better from Fender. 3.5 stars, actually. At least the price was good.

Its a Fender what else could you want?

The Front is dark red like the back instead of a light maple. I really like it however. I sounds great and for the price seems like a great purchase. The sound and play action are perfect and the nylon strings wont mess with my fingers like the steel strings do.

True Fender quality?

The Fender guitar was only $149. It?s not a great guitar, by any stretch of you imagination?.but it plays. I wanted another guitar that I could use for various tunings. It works for that.
