Monopod

Nice and sturdy. Holds my 200-500mm lens and camera well. I'm 6'5" and this one goes high enough.

Great value and build quality

This monopod is s great value, and appears to be comparible in quality to my RRS and Gitzo gear. I replaced an older Gitzo aluminum monopod with this one and have no regrets so far. This is significantly lighter, which us s big plus, and the leg locks work better (which is to be expected compared with the 25 year old still working Gitzo). Being lighter, it does not balance as well with a big lens setup, but I'll take the weight savings any day of the week. Durability remains to be seen, but construction quality appears to be excellent. This is a large size unit, no trouble supporting a large telephoto/large digital body combo.
