About Ferrofish PULSE16 SFP
Because the PULSE16 SFP MADI Optical Module is designed to enhance your audio experience, it requires the Ferrofish SFP Unlock Code (SKU: FERSFPUNLOCK / MFR: SFP UNLOCK) for activation. This optical MADI I/O SFP module can be seamlessly integrated into the PULSE16 via the built-in SFP port, transforming it into a PULSE16 MX.
Available in two distinct versions, MADI Multimode and Singlemode, this module is also compatible with the Verto MX device, allowing for an effortless switch to MADI Singlemode. The upgrade introduces a range of features designed to optimize your audio setup.
The addition of this module extends the PULSE16's capabilities, adding an impressive 64 in and 64 out MADI channels. All 16 x 16 analog channels can be fully utilized and converted to digital MADI and ADAT with sample rates reaching up to 192 kHz.
The ADAT ports can be used with 192 kHz (SMUX/4 = 8 channels), and 32 ADAT I/Os can be employed for conversion/routing from/to MADI. This MADI upgrade is comprised of two key components: the Ferrofish MADI SFP Module with an LC connector, available in Multimode or Singlemode. Please note that only genuine Ferrofish MADI SFP modules are supported.
