About Film Gear Power Beam
The Power Beams are Film Gear's newest line of beam projectors. The HMI models have been highly in demand all over Europe and Asia, and they are now arriving on North American shores to fill a much-needed role in creating shafts of directional daylight through windows, foliage, or fog. Designed with a thicker glass mirror and an overall sturdier housing, these workhorses are built to perform even in the roughest conditions of set life.
The 18/12kW Daylight Power Beam is a 36"-faced beam projector with dual support for 18kW HMI SE and 12kW HMI SE lamps, giving gaffers the option to pump out much more output than beam projectors of the past. This model is compatible with Film Gear's 18/12kW Electronic Ballasts and cables.
Film Gear's custom-fitted clamshell-style flight case is a popular option for protecting this massive workhorse during travel.
