The Freehands Men's Stretch Thinsulate Gloves (Small) are designed to be used when photographing outdoors in cold weather. The gloves have a waterproof and windproof backing and are lined with Thinsulate to keep you warm in the winter while being lightweight enough to wear in milder weather. When photographing in cold weather you can open the finger tips so that you can more easily access small buttons on your camera, which might be difficult to access if you were wearing normal gloves. When you need to access buttons on your camera, simply pull back the thumb and forefinger tips of the gloves to reveal your fingers. The tips are secured in place by magnets until you are ready to cover your fingers again. The palm patch features a silicon grip to prevent your camera from slipping. The gloves are designed to fit snugly so you can hold and operate your camera easily.

I purchased a Large which fits me perfectly and I normally wear a Cadet Medium in a golf glove.

I paired this with glove liners for additional warmth. The combo is good down to around freezing temperatures to keep my hands warm so long as there is no wind.

I knocked a star of because of the the threads on the padding is pulling loose after only three uses.

They work well, great grip but not the best build quality.

I should have ordered a larger size. I have not yet used these as I am thinking of exchanging.

Photography gloves.

Took photo's in below zero weather and worked great.  It was a good price as well.

Though it looks not thick, it is really warm to wear in winter. Very convenient to use.

Great Gloves

Fit is snug. I ordered a Large even though fit chart indicated I was at the top of the Medium range. The Large is close to a perfect, snug fit.

Love Freehands Gloves!!  Great fit, warm, magnetic pullbacks, and allows fingertips to have direct access to camera controls and knobs.

Freehands Gloves are a MUST HAVE for winter photography!

These gloves are much better than the other brands that I have used. They are ideal and useful for using in the cold weather.

Very well designed

I bought a Large size and it was too small which surprised me as that would be a size I would normally wear.  They seem well made and very functional but be careful about size.

Small fit

Keeps the hands warm except for the flip over finger hoods the tips of those fingers get cold

Winter protection

It's always going to be difficult to operate a camera in cold weather, especially the small dials and buttons. Harder still when wearing gloves, but these Men's Stretch Thinsulate Gloves at least give you a fighting chance. They fit snug, which helps, and they are remarkably warm. The ingenious thumb and forefinger flaps work better than any other gloves I have tried.

I would buy this product again

I have been looking for gloves that I can use for photography in the cold. These gloves are warm if the temperture is in the in the 30F to 40F range. They don't do the job when the temperture is in the 20F range. They are tight however, that helps when using the camera. I would not buy them again.

Average but, not good for very cold

These gloves are great!
I have been shooting with them almost everyday since they arrived. We had one day that hit 60. 
They fit great, and are warm. 
While they don't get in the way, I would prefer no magnets to hold back the flaps.
