It's rebranded Kodak Gold, but cheaper. Can't argue with that I guess.

Great price to stock up on a budget film. Got some for the freezer as film is getting harder to find

A very solid roll of film to work with for a great price. A great film for outdoor sunny shoots and direct sunlight, super inexpensive!

I love this film, it would get full marks if it layed flat for scanning after processing

A classic – real hard to beat for price to quality for just some fun shots. Tends to lean heavy on the greens.

This film is always great for various settings. Better yet was the service I received. A minor shipping error was corrected over night and I can't thank them enough for the excellent service. I will always be back for items.

This was a great purchase. Very agreeable price for 35 mm film, and quick shopping. Also found it to be high quality film.

As long as you overexpose this film by at least a half or whole stop, and meter for the shadows, it's pretty nice for outdoor photos. Beware that underexposed shadows will all be the usual splotchy green mess that you get from any cheap Fuji film. But, hey, it *is* cheap - or, should I say, inexpensive. And, really, it's a good deal. The thing I love THE MOST about this film: it is immediately obvious that the photos were shot on film. Sure, Portra 160 is a finer fancier choice for warm accurate colors, but Portra is so good you don't get as much of the natural quirkiness of the retro film look. Fuji, however - any random person off the street will immediately know you're shooting real film when they see Fujifilm 200 shots like these. Digital cameras just don't do this kind of stuff with light and color. I think it's special. Just, be aware of what you're going to get, and use it in situations where you want to overexpose and get colors that are saturated in interesting idiosyncratic ways. And, be careful if you're shooting portraits and make sure the light and exposure are absolutely perfect. Shadows are your nemesis with cheap Fujifilm. Or plan on having purposefully cold portraits, that could be neat if you know what you're making when you make it.

I got this film on a whim, when I first got back into film. This film performs very well, maybe a tiny bit coarse grain, but overall, this is a great value, with very pretty colors. Good for landscapes, portraits, and everything in between. I have bought 6 rolls, all were delivered in a mannerly time and order was correct. 9.5-10/10

Great film. It's cheap and it works well for me, someone who is new to analog photography.

I've shot a few rolls of this since 2013. It has high resolution, small grain, and nice colors. The only con is that sometimes the details fall out in high contrast situations (e.g. Noon)..

I'm giving it a 5 for the price/quality ratio. Really, Fuji does not make a bad film. If you've got problems with this one, it's not because of the film. Grain is fine colour saturation is great w/o blowing any out, highlight recovery is excellent. If you get bad results it's because: 1/ It was messed by the kid working at your 1 hour quickie lab 2/ You missed the exposure. Example attached shot with this film.

I have used Fuji 200 for years when I want to make photos with vivid colors. I experiment with many types of classic film cameras even though I have several digital cameras that would do the job. Film still has a remarkable dynamic range compared to digital. Of course digitizing film photos depends on the capabilities of the scanner that is used. So, different film processors may yield different results. If that is held constant, Fuji film is more vivid than Kodak Gold, another less expensive film.

I'm a big fan of the Superia 400 for my colour work. It has the issue of being a bit too fast for my outdoor work or other bright lights. I was happy to see the 200 speed available and ordered five rolls. I've been through a couple already and am very very pleased with the result. The extra stop in bright light helps a lot and the film prints very similar to 400. The colours are beautiful and, for a print film, always come out saturated quite nice. The lab I use helps but the film and it's extra colour layer really make for great prints. Especially around the golden hours I get nice sky rendition and colours like rust and bright paint really shine. I don't really see much of a downside at the moment. I will use the other rolls and see what happens. I haven't seen a "press" version of this speed and am not sure it exists but I don't think the special handling and such that is attributed to the Press version would make much of a difference in my personal use. One of the biggest pluses for me is not in the printing but scanning. A lot of my work goes straight in to a film scanner and with no touch-ups this film really shines for the conversion to digital. I rarely have to play with post-production on the images that it produces. For a couple bucks a roll, it's hard to say no.

For the price, you can't beat it. Honest colors like Portra, but at a much lower price. A bit more grain than Portra 160, but I don't mind. I will shoot a ton of this!

Great All Around Film
By James C.
This is a good everyday use film. The colors are wonderful, and I've gotten enlargements as big as 16 X 20 with very little grain showing. Also, it is a very sharp film. It has given me consistenly pleasing results.
I've used and loved Fujicolor Superia films for many years, and I would recommend them without reservation
By R W.
I've used and loved Fujicolor Superia films for many years, and I would recommend them without reservation if only they were still available! Unfortunately, it appears that Fuji has stopped production of this film (at least in the speed and size I use, ISO 200/36-exp), so this review is, essentially, pointless.
Designed for versatility and ease of use, the multi-purpose C200 ISO is an all-around Film perfect for outdoors, or indoors with flash. Smooth, Fine Grain Enhanced Color Reproduction & Sharpness Captures true color even under fluorescent lights. Enhanced edges for outstanding sharpness.
