Sorry to see it go

I have used this film for many years and remain at a loss for why this particular (ASA 400) Fuji product is being discontinued. It was a perfect all-around film for me: fine grain, popping color, low light capable and pushable by a stop or so. I will miss it; get it while you can!

Good color rendition,

Just sent this off for processing, I expect it will yield as good prints as the last roll I had processed, I have photo discs made of the processed film and then color correct in the computer as needed before printing. Last roll I did required very little editing.

You get what you pay

Wonderful grain and contrast. You'll find it a little flat in certain situations but great film overall. I used it to shoot surfing in semi overcast days and the results were great.

Great value

For an economical color roll of film for cameras, this is a good product. I personally prefer the Fuji films to Kodak because they give off more cool tones verses warm, and I like that better myself.

a fine film

I use it for seashore pictures...birds, boats, macro shots. It's worked very well for action shots of water skiers and other S-priority subjects. Shooting in A-priority also works well with this film. I believe the colors to be accurate. I'm very pleased with it.

Poor color reproduction

I shot a 24 exposure roll using a Canon Rebel which I had not used for many years. Photos were taken indoors under LED or incandescent lighting using automatic camera settings. With flash the colors had a violet hue; without flash the colors had a yellowish hue. Although I had high expectations from my film camera based on consistently good results from years ago,the quality of photos could only be described as poor compared to those from my Sony DSC_HXV compact digital camera under the identical condtions. I consider the Sony, with its tiny sensor and the very limited light gathering capability of its zoom lens, to be a very low bar for comparing performance.

Great colors and vibrancy

I have shot with tons of different types of film, and I particularly love shooting around the hours of sunset. Some films aren't able to accurately capture the light and coloring of that time of day, but I was really pleased at how this film came out.

Great colors versatile and forgiving

I use this film for family and landsape shots as well as the urban eyesores I like to photograph. This film will give you great colors if you use a good lab to process and print.

Good value for the cost

I have a digital camera but to be sure I get several shots of things, I use a film camera also. I can't see that the digital camera is that much cheaper as people tell me--maybe it is because our computer is too old to download. I still like to share prints so take the digital into [...] for the cheapest prints which are glossy not matt. So I like to get my film developed x2 prints and share and this is good.
