Great B&W film; nice contrast and fine g

fine grain and very lovely contrast make Neopan 400 my favorite B&W film at ISO 400. Much has been said about it but it's simply a very good if not one of the best B&W films out htere.

Great contrast and sharpness

This is probably my favorite B&W film. I love the contrast and sharpness of this film. The grain is not bad at all. It's too bad Fujifilm has decided to discontinue it. I wish it were cheaper.

Excellent Black and White film.

Like to use it for b&w landscape shots. Excellent for that purpose. Buy it while you can still get it and freeze all you can get.

Very good, but grainy

This film paints beautiful pictures. My only complaint is that it's grainier than I expect for a 400 film. (Acros 100 fixes that completely.) But many people love obvious grain, so that could be a plus. It's truly excellent for the price, if you need a 400 b&w film, it's hard to go wrong with Neopan.

An Okay Film for Okay Photography

I use this product for my photography class. My last roll of film had almost light leaks visible on each of my 36 negatives. However, overall I have barely found any problematic issues with this type of film.

Great picture and value

I needed 10 rolls of this film for my photography class and money was an issue, so I picked up this film as my teacher recommend this among some other films. Before, I previously printed some shots from a Kodax TMAX 400 roll, and the grain texture and tonal quality is much better with the Neopan 400. On close up shots the grain can sometimes be a little much, but it is overall a very good film that comes at a great value.

Switched from Kodak to Neopan spring 08

I'm glad I made the switch to this film. It's grain texture and tonal value is so much better than that from Kodak. I found this film by accident while on an assignment shooting some racing for a school. I was so happy with it once I developed it, I stopped using everything else.

All Around Film

This is a great inexpensive all around film. It is a good one to keep on hand at all times. It seems to provide acceptable shots in most circumstances. It could have better contrast.

I've been using Neopan for years!

Although I haven't closed my mind to trying other B&W films that friends will reccomend, I ALWAYS go back to Fuji Neopan. I find that it has a great tonal range, especially in the highlights.
