Questions & Answers

Ryles M : Him many photos can you take?JAE THOMAS S : 27!
Shopper : The site's caption reads "Waterproof to 17 Feet" but the imprint on the box says "Waterproof up to 35 feet" Which is correct or why are they different?AMY S : I have no idea which is correct or why they are different. The manufacturer should be able to answer that question. I used the camera while snorkeling and I never got quite as deep as 17 feet! In fact, I actually took many of the pictures with the camera on land. They came out beautifully!BRUCE H : The blurb in Adorama's ad says 10 feet. none of which makes a lot of sense to me... i only used the camera in some very splashy conditions at the surface, so i never tested the depth. i would presume that the box label should be most accurate. good luck..
Shopper : Does it take pictures on land?TOM B : Yes it does!JANICE A : YesAMY S : Yes, it takes pictures on land.BRUCE H : 800 speed film is relatively grainy, and it is possible that in very bright situations there is a risk of overexposure. so yes, but there are better solutions for land-only photos. if you are going to be in and out of the water, go ahead and have fun - it is a fairly wide angle lens, so everything is in focus, and if it falls on the sand you can just wash it off.KELLY L : Yes!

Rated 2 out of 5

Bad quality

To me, the film seems to be expired, even though the date on the package indicates that it should be fresh. In a decently-lit indoor room, the negatives are so washed out and dark that you can't see anything. In a brighter situation, the photos are still extremely washed out and look very expired.

Good quality for a disposable

If you're looking for a quick & easy solution to underwater photos this is a great little camera. I have a Digital Pentax WG-2 also and this little Fuji is just as acceptable. I would highly recommend it.

Great photos of snorkel trip

Very easy to click and shoot underwater photos. Advancing the film was very easy in the water as well. I placed the cameras in my carry on bag to avoid heavy xrays during airport security. This has been known to ruin 35mm film pics, but mine came out clear.
