The best slide film I have ever used except for maybe Kodachrome 25. Even Kodachrome 25 couldn't match Provia 100F's ability to capture action because of it's low ISO. Fine grain and excellent colors. I experimented with 21 rolls of Kodak e100 and regretted it. Provia 100F has much better colors and exposure latitude. I'll quit shooting film before I buy e100 again.

My order arrived quickly and in great shape. Provia is a neutral, balanced color slide film with great sharpness and depth. I am very happy with my purchase.

I have had good results with it for decades. I wish they would get their supply chain fixed up as delivery time is very long.

Colors are not too saturated, not too little.

Best slide film I've found in the post-Kodachrome world.

Provia is a great E6 film. Love the colors. It is one of my goto slide films.

Vibrant colors and very contrasty, a beautiful film. Like all slide film, it needs to be exposed properly and doesn’t tolerate over- or underexposure very well, but when it is exposed just right, it looks great.

I've been buying camera equipment and film from Adorama for many years and have always appreciated their fine service. If, occasionally have to return some goods, they never argue about my reasons. GREAT FIRM!

In the age of digital, there is still a demand for film. Collectors of physical images will still use film until none is manufactured. Sine Kodak ended Kodachrome, this is the go-to film for such collectors.

The best slide film still available in 35mm format, as far as I am concerned. I was a diehard Kodachrome nut, but am actually happier with the colors this film produces. Not as blue/green shifted as Velvia. Only bad things are it keeps getting more expensive, and one of these days Fuji is going to stop making it!

I'm young photographer in my 20s and needless to say that since the first day I started shooting it was with a digital camera. I'm still shooting with a digital camera but now I'm also shooting slides my main subject is airplanes and the Fuji Provia 100F serves the purpose like no other. I've tried different film types still available on the market and this is the ones that comes closest to the best colors. In my opinion the Fuji Provia 100F is the best film on the market now.

Use for 35mm and 120, often with 81A filter. Not too much contrast or grain.

I use Provia to photograph trains. When I heard Kodachrome was no longer going to be available I was at first disapointed, but after using Fuji Provia I have been pleased with the results and now wish I had made the change sooner. I think that Provia actually gives better color than Kodachrome.

I used this positive transparency film with my View-master stereo camera while on vacation this summer. Using my luna pro light meter, I was able to get near perfect exposures with recreated natural vivid colors and nice tonal qualities. I would recommend this film for any outdoor nature photos.

I love this film it's the best. Every time I shoot other films like portra witch I do like alote, I always come back to provia, I'm always amazed with the quaity, Its going to be my goto film from now on I have a lab close to me that process it for so that works out good. It's truly amazing film. I Shoot both 35mm and 120 medium format.

Fine grained, fast enough -- with Kodachrome no longer with us, this is a thoroughly viable alternative.

We photographed exactly the same landscapes with both Fujichrome Provia 100F and Kodak Ektachrome E100G, on the same day and timeframe, and used the same development lab at the same time for both films. Kodak E100G results are clearly better that Fujichrome. Colors are true with Kodak. Fujichrome is both too lightly colored, and has clearly washed-out sky color. Grain is a little better on Provia 100F compare to E100G. But, that is not the detail that is dominant in these photos. Both films are good enough in grain size. I just have to tell you the live view of the scenery we photographed was reproduced better by Kodak Ektachrome E100G, based upon three people who were there and reviewed the results of both developed films.

Provia 100 is what I love to use for those underwater shots off a wall with sunlit water behind the fan or sponge. If my strobe is in the correct position the shot will be great. They are sharp enough to enlarge without graininess. I use it in my housed Nikon N8 with a Nikon 28-80mm zoom.

Since the demise of Kodachrome, I have found this film to be a reasonable substitute considering its decent sharpness and color rendition.

I've been using Fuji Provia 100.

I've been using Provia for 7 years now. As long as I can get this film I will not switch to Digital. The color saturation and fine grain caters well to the subjects I photograph. It also scans very well on My Nikon Coolscan V ED.
Great Color Slide Film
By ERoustom
Years ago I used Kodachrome and was quite happy with it, so when I got back into shooting slides I tried the very inexpensive Sensia, which did ok, but I wasn't struck by anything special. I never liked unnatural saturation, so I wasn't interested in the famed Velvia, but I'm quite pleased that I chose Provia for my recent time in Canada's Maratimes. Lovely color, and sharp detail, as I remember seeing it. Exposed in bright sun, and fog - all came out well.
